He is a MBA, FRM (Financial Risk Management), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) and Fintech Enthusiast with 20 years of diverse geographical experience involving full spectrum of Operational Risk Management including Risk Identification, Policy Development, Governance; Control Design, Implementation, Risk Assessment, Capital Assessment, Assurance of controls. At Citibank, he was the head of Operational risk Bahrain and Qatar for Wholesale, Retail, Investment and Islamic Banking areas. Further, specialized in Compliance Risk, Operations and Internal Audit during previous roles at various banks. Have extensive experience in Control Design, Control Assurance, Risk Governance and Risk Assessment. Acted as a change agent in implementing 3 Operational Risk Management Systems for Bahrain and 2 GRC systems for the MENA Cluster.
